Hi! I'm María Jardím, a Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) teacher and native Spanish speaker.
I have lived in four different countries, an experience that has allowed me to learn about diverse cultures and learning styles; this helps me understand the difficulties students may encounter when learning Spanish. This experience helps me create more open, dynamic classes adapted to students in different contexts.
Spanish is my native language, and I also speak Portuguese and Swedish. I also have a working knowledge of English, allowing students to grasp concepts in a language they can understand.
In my classes, I focus on explaining the language clearly, practically, and in a way that is tailored to each student, helping them develop confidence, improve their understanding of Spanish, and progress confidently in their learning through immersion in the target language.
My goal is for you, as a student, not only to learn Spanish but also to enjoy the process of learning a new language and discovering the culture of the Spanish-speaking world.
I believe that learning a language should be a positive, motivating, and useful experience for life.
